I'm an Australian journalist and author, living in Sydney & also the Blue Mountains. I started my career in my teens as Australia's then-youngest newspaper columnist at the West Australian. I've worked at a senior level in radio (94.5fm, ABC news radio,RTHK radio in Hong Kong, 6UVSfm, Information Radio) TV (ABC Lateline, 10 News, Today Tonight, Ch 9 Small Business Show, Today Show finance, ATV News Hong Kong) & newspapers, as well as freelance work for a variety of publications. I've been a Beijing correspondent, Associate Editor of HuffPost Australia, I've dabbled in modelling (mostly runway/catwalk) and I've got a strong sense of justice which led me to become a journalist all those years ago! These days I'm a prolific history writer, particularly the British royals, I also write about parenthood, social media, surviving cancer & teaching people to think like a survivor. I'm obsessed with twins, Luke Skywalker, fairy tales, Tolkien & everything related to Gen-X (I think my generation is both the best and the worst of all parents!) I'm a podcaster (Ghosted) I've written four books & currently working on two screenplays.

I'm the mother of three boys: I will love them until the Statue of Liberty sits down.
